Chef Sary Ladki

Born in Beirut, Lebanon, Sary was surrounded by delicious Mediterranean cuisine from a young age, as he grew up in a family that placed a strong emphasis on food and cooking. This environment instilled in him a love for cooking as a means of bringing people together.


After moving to Montreal, Canada, Sary discovered his true passion for culinary arts as he worked at various well-known establishments. Because of his determination and love for the industry, at only 26, he quickly worked his way up to become sous-chef at Toqué, one of the best, high-end restaurants in the world.

In 2022, Sary’s culinary journey led him to Barcelona, Spain where he earned a degree in Haute Cuisine from the Culinary Institute of Barcelona, learned from tens of top chefs around the world and studied Spanish intensively for almost a year to fully immerse himself in the culture and cuisine.

He secured an internship at the highly acclaimed Restaurant Xavier Pellicer, where he worked under the renowned Chef Xavier Pellicer, who is known for his vegetable-focused cuisine and has been named the best restaurant in Spain for Best Vegetables in 2018, 2019, and Plant-based untouchable chef in 2020, 2021, and 2022.
